I have around 30 chickens that are all coughing and sneezing. Some aren't even eating/drinking. Is it safe to use Tylan Soluble on egg laying chickens? If so, is there a withdrawal on using the eggs?

Yes, you can use Tylan Soluable. It's suppose to be a very good antibiotic. There is a withdrawl period of 14 days I think, from the date of the last dose. I think the dosage on Tylan is 3-5 days, but that's injectable so Soluable may be longer.

Ok, I found out that Tylan is fine for laying hens. We are NOT to use the eggs while on treatment, but once they are off the treatment we can use them.

Now I have all 60+ chickens on Tylan, my 14-18 week old chicks started to sneeze today too. Can I mix Tylan and electrolytes together in a gallon of water?
