How do you use tylan? Water? By mouth? Can I still eat the eggs? HOw much would I use in a 5 gal waterer for a flock of 4 1 standred, and 3 banties. How much for a chick waterer with 2 5 week old chicks, and 1 bantie mom? Thanks.

Powder but its pricy. I use injectable for 10.00. Do you have a respitory issue?

Ok So I have a flock of 4 silkies , 1 rir, and 2 chicks. so theres a a 5 gal waterer for the 3 silikie and the rir, and a chick waterer for the hen, and 2 chicks. All of them have been sneezing a lot.

Go to feed store and ask for an antibotic for the water. I think its durimyicin(sp) and its like a tsp to 1 gal fresh water daily. 3-5 days. Start there and see if it works and if not then maybe tylan injectable.

if it is a resperatory issue the tylan will work best the injectable works best use 1/4 cc for bantams and 1/2 cc for standard birds it will work quick......

Thats what I use but we are not sure on what it is yet. That why I suggest antibotic. If its MG I suggest denagard. Could it be shavings?

I prefer the Tylan injectable also for respiratory issues - works faster and better than anything I've mixed with the water. Are their eyes watery/bubbley? Do you hear/feel any rattling in their chest? I try not to use antibiotics unless absolutely necessary.
