Tylovet vs. tylan 50?

My banty mix is very sick she is breathing very labored I gave her one cc of tylovet Mixed with water. Should I go to tractor supply and get Tylan 50 And if so how much should I give her. I am desperate she weighs about 2 1/4 pounds, I don’t know how old she is, I’m guessing around six or seven years old her crop is empty, her abdomen is not the distended

The tylovet is old but I figure it’s better than nothing

If you have Tylovet which is the same Tylan (tylosin) soluble powder, that would be good to treat symptoms of mycoplasma (MG, ) and some types of enteritis. Tylan 50 is an injectable form of tylosin that has disappeared off shelves. Sorry about your banty. Is she drinking water or eating? Have you offered wet chicken feed and chopped cooked egg? What do her poops look like? She might have a reproductive problem or even cancer that is making her lose weight. At her age it could anything. I am sorry about your hen.

Thank you so much for your response. I know that she will die someday but I am not looking forward to that at all. She seems a bit better. I did the Vet RX and tylovet. A friend of mine swears by oil of oregano but I sort of pooh-poohed it. I will get some. I’m eating some good stuff online about it
