They are 13 weeks old, identical, except the one with a small snood bit other ones snood off when they were smaller..
They have not changed color permanently, only when anxious and I think at least one of then makes noise only females do..but I'm new at this.

Just a guess but both appear to be hens unless one of them happens to be a late developing tom which can take until 6 months to show.

They don't change color permanently. Their head colors change according to the situation and their moods.

I am not aware of a sound that comes from turkey hens only. The gobble is the sound that males make and hens don't normally make.

Maybe the sound thing is something I have not understood correctly..
I tought males will be permanently darker red, no? I am hoping for two females, so that would be perfect if they are..

I was thinking perhaps you were confusing them with guinea fowl where the hens do make a sound that the males don't.

Even the hens can change their head colors with their moods. It is not a permanent change with either sex.

I was looking a video from youtube about turkey hen sounds yet I have never heard toms do these sounds in any video, but perhaps there is none and only about gobble 😃
