Tyre as a roost

Half a day of hard graft and I'm there.. Tyre still being considered.

Gonna blow the chooks minds.

Yeah, they won't like it.. ..might have to put them on the roost after dark.

How is roost attached to that chicken wire?
They like it even less if it's wobbly.

Three handcrafted wooden brackets attached to the brick wall at back then plank attached. Rounded corners.

Final decision is if I put rubber on the roost as I had before. Meant to help with their feet.

Nah, as long as there is no splintering of the wood after sanding, best not to put anything else on roosts.
