next time you see him walk up to him and give him this syrupy sweet smile and say "thank you so much for the favor you payed me yesterday, I know how important it is to gain my trust and you have done a wonderfull (heavy on the sarcasm) job, I'm sure I'll be able to trust you very well in the future" hehehe, I've used that tactic before, it really works
