You can see our "flock" in my signature. Got chicks in April. Adopted two hens so we wouldn't have to wait for eggs. In June, Speckle went broody. Tried to break her but it didn't work, took advice to just give her eggs and let her hatch. She now has chicks almost two weeks old. So no eggs from her since early June, leaving only Fluffy Tuesday laying for us.
The last week we see what I think were worms in one of the chicken's poo. So we worm them. Ok, 14 days of throwing out eggs. Last night I go out to lock everyone up and Tuesday isn't on the roost! I got worried for a minute, until I turned and there she is in the nest box! OH good Greif! Now I guess we won't be getting any!
