Ugh, a bit worried.

Day 19. Power went out for ~2 hours. Temp got down to high 70s. One egg has externally pipped already, and I’m worried the dip in temp may have harmed it. I don’t want to open the incubator to try and check on it, so I’m just holding my breath and hoping for the best!

Leaving the incubator closed was the right decision. Opening it would have let them get colder and drier.

I think there is a good chance they will be fine, but of course you won't know for sure until they hatch (or don't hatch.)

THE PIPPED ONE HATCHED! I now have a second pipped. Hoping the others follow suit!
