My husband noticed a gap in the mesh and didn't fix it or let me know, so we woke up this morning, we woke up to one trampled chicken and one muscovy duck with a small bloody spot on his side where I assume somebody tried to take a bite. Other than a few splotches of blood on the bedding, though, there was no more evidence of violence. We'll do a head count later on after we get home (we had to rush out to a birthday party).

Life got complicated. Without going into TOO much detail (low energy), we were in a car accident on the way home from the party. We are all okay, TG, but didn't fix the hole because it was after dark. We kinda held our breath and hoped but had no energy to deal with it.

This morning, we had more blood spatters, six dead chickens, a few missing and a sad human. It could have been prevented if we'd gotten home sooner. [IMG]

We'll board up the gap today and hope.

    I'm so sorry!
First of all for the accident and second for the birdies... [IMG]

The missing ones might show up when they feel it's safe.
