Ugh....bumblefoot

Got a silkie rooster with bumblefoot. Ick! I read up on the bumblefoot surgery. I really don't want to.

It's not really all that bad to do. How bad is it? Do you have a picture???

No picture. It is HUGE. The scab is the size of the end of my index finger. The foot is swollen so bad that the toes hardly move. My FIL slipped this guy in because he felt sorry for him. We picked up 20 new birds yesterday. I didn't put them in their isolation coop, my DH did.
