Don't say you are stupid. You just made a mistake. We all make those, and besides I have chickens that live outside in the snow and weather all the time. They just go into the trees or somewhere. If it's dark they are asleep and can not see, so they are pretty much immobile. when day light comes around she'll come back to the house. I am sending my happy thoughts your way though.

My boss always tells us to never admit we made a mistake as long as we learned something from it. Treat it as a life lesson and learn from it. I hope she is ok.

UPDATE:I found her 20 ft up in a tree sleeping lol she didnt seem bothered by the cold at all shes on my lap right now.
