I really liked this suggestion and am going to try it. Never thought about clear vs red but I'm game for all thoughts, ideas.....

Hopefully something will work. the lil' buggers can get very nosy!!

Wonderful! I moved everyone (16 chicks and 2 poults) out to the mancave. Course the Man had some issues with having them out there but this morning, he was pretty happy after not hearing them all night. I think he forgave me for invading his cave.
