My poor polish got all wet again this morning. It has been non stop raining here where I live, and they have been staying under all the covering/roofing I have. Well, when I went to check on them this morning, one must have been somewhere where the rain came in while she was sleeping last night, and there she was standing on her perch with her head between her legs! Poor thing, so I scoop her up, and bring her in to blow dry her!

She is nice and dry and warm now! Hopefully she will remain that way for the rest of the day!

You would think with all of the time and money I used to put of those nice metal roofs, they would get under them, but NO they enjoy standing in the rain lol.

Does any one elses polish do this as well??

When I still had them, my 2 roos were the first in the rain, and the last ones to come in out of the rain. They do look pitiful with their hair all wet.

All of my chickens currently look like drowned rats...especially the Silkies and the Polish. Their tarp got ripped off by the storms last night and they're all SOAKED. They could get inside their coops if they wanted to, but of course they don't.

my polish will stand in the rain too. Unfortunately, when their feathers get wet it exposes their pink little skulls and the other birds start plucking feathers!!! I have has to separate out my two sets of polish form the other birds of those age groups. I feel bad since now they have no real friends but themselves. Two sets of two....I hope they really like each other
