This is just a rant.
At the beginning of May, I noticed bloody poop from someone in my flock. I researched, looked through many pictures and possibilities, symptom lists and finally determined it was coccidiosis. I have about 40 chickens in my flock and none were showing symptoms. I removed all the bloody poop from the coop and put everyone on lockdown. I watched them for over an hour when I finally found the culprit. I snatched him up right away and put him in quarantine.
At the end of that day he was starting to show the symptoms. His wings were drooping and his comb was extremely pale. He couldn't stay on the roost in the quarantine cage. The next morning, there was more bloody poop and I ordered Corid and separated yet another cockerel.
May 4th
I checked my local feed store first, and they didn't carry corid. I found that amazon has dealers that carry corid and I ordered the one with the quickest standard shipping time...or so I thought. It said to allow 2-3 days for processing and up to 5 days for shipping. I figured I would get it the 12th or 13th at the latest. Especially since it wasn't even international shipping. I checked multiple times everyday, and there was no updated information and there was no contact information or tracking numbers.
Today is the 14th and I just got the email at 9:40 this morning that my order has shipped. I am so angry that it took TEN days to process and its still not supposed to be here until the 17th. So much for treating my flock quickly...
Sadly we had to cull the two cockerels because they were suffering so badly. Luckily none of my other birds showed any symptoms so hopefully I am okay until it gets here...whenever that is...
I want to call the company and complain but there's no information about it on amazon. There isn't even a link for me to write a review.
