So I had to swap a roo, handed me this chicken and said it's a 5 month Americana mix hen. I wasn't sure based on the tail but he said just take it and if it crows we will swap again- so i did cause I'm timid. Not a girl, is it?
The only thing that might give me some hope is that it is so much lighter than the rooster I traded, it doesn't have that bulk to it. It's the same size and feels same weight as my orphington girls 15 weeks.
