Ugly duckling (chickling) - look at me now!

This is Splash, a splash cochin. She/he was one ugly chick but in the last month or so has bloomed into quite a beauty. This is my first cochin, so I'm not too familiar with what to look for - is she a she?

What a gorgeous bird! Thanks for sharing. I suspect she's a pullet, given the relative lack of wattles, comb, and spindles. But I'm very new to chickens, so that's just a suspicion. Thanks for the pix!

How old ?? Kinda looks like a roo stance to me. I have 4 cochin mixes that I cannot tell yet if they are roo's or not so I am just guessing.
