@love-my-wolves - that Cochin looks so awesome with those huge feathered feet(makes me miss my cochins a bit).
Now that turken could almost pass for a vulture! I must agree it does look like a roo.
@envirogirl- that just looks cute how your chickies sit side by side.
These 2 boys are way too hyper to sit still long enough for me to take a pic like that.
I have been raising several breeds of chickens for years and so far the Ameraucana and the silkies always seem to have the ugliest ugly-phase......
Oh, and 1 of those 2 boys has been spoken for as of yesterday (the one at the back), I send the people that exact pic and they were all excited that they will be getting a silver blue amer roo and they think he is the cutest(they will be amazed how pretty he will be in a month).
So he will be going to his new home next month when he is weaned off of the heatlamp and used to living outside.
These people have been anxiously waiting for me to have either hatching eggs or a roo for sale of my silver blues. Fertility is pretty much down the drain this year and as luck would have it the 2 only fertile eggs I have collected so far have turned out to be both roos(one for me and one for them).
