Ugly wart getting worse

My 9 month old cream legbar, Minnie, had lots of scabs on her comb a couple weeks ago. I thought they were just pecking injuries and would heal fine, but some developed into nasty warts. Now the corner of one eye is swollen and the big wart on her comb looks worse than ever. I brought her inside and put colloidal silver on it to kill bacteria, but other than that I have no idea what to do. Minnie seems very uncomfortable and keeps rubbing her eye on her feathers. How can I help her???

Do an on site search on 'fowl pox'. This may be what she is dealing with. The virus has to run its course. Softening the lesions with antibiotic ointment can help with any secondary bacterial infection.

Yes I have looked up fowl pox, but I just want to make sure it isn't something worse. Would fowl pox make her eye red and swollen?
