Uh, is someone ready for lockdown a little early?

Pics
I hope he makes it, now. He's still got some work to do with the bottom half, but I'm leaving the rest up to him. I would have been happy to let him handle it all, but after about 30 hours in the same position, I don't think he was going to get any further.
Hows the little buddy doing this morning?? ❤️

Update: he's wriggled out of the last piece of shell, kicked it aside, and is wiggling around, stretching, cheeping back and forth with his buddy in there who has pipped internally, and getting fluffy! His belly button is a little puffy, but it's not bleeding or oozing, it's just prominent. He hasn't fully woken up yet, but neither have I 🤣

Update: belly button has receded and is covered with a little scab. Lots of rolling around, getting brooder ready for transfer after he gets a a good full 24 hour rest and is up and moving! Took a quick pic while cleaning up egg leavings!

Oh my heavens, what a blessing. You are a duckie momma ❤️

He's making me nervous, because he's very wobbly, but he IS less than 24 hours old
Your a nervous nelly like me! You are doing your best and thats all you can do. I bet his wobbles will go away and he’ll be just duckie! Just breathe darlin’. You just keep doin’ your best. ❤️
