Now what???
Got our first chickens in April. Hen went broody and couldn't break her, so got her some eggs... Hatched 2 and 3 days ago. AND I'm already thinking about hatching again!
Problem... don't have enough room in the coop/ don't have the need for that many eggs/ don't want my neighboors to hate us... But I don't want to stop.

We had a broody hen last year and couldn't break her, so she hatched out five...all roosters! We gave them all up. They were bantams, so not much eating. This year the same hen is broody and she is sitting on 11 Marans eggs as I type. They should hatch next week! I want to keep two hens (if we get hens this time!). And, I know she'll go broody again next year in all probability. So, keep more then too? I want to move out to the country and start a chicken farm! I'm obsessed with all things chicken.
