So I just found out my two silkies are roos. Is there a chance the hens will just beat them away when/if they decide to mate? I've seen this with a friend's bantam rooster and standard hens - Go away you pesky fly! One of the silkies is grabbing necks and making the girls screech. The other just crows a lot and pecks a bit on the other roo if they're side-by-side on the roost. I do have a bantam hen, though, which doesn't bode well.

I don't want chicks!

If your concern is about baby chicks, just don't let them go broody. Take the eggs out from under them ASAP. If your concern is about the girls getting beat up, Silkie roos aren't too bad from my experience. But if you do start to have a problem, you could get them a saddle, or separate the roos. Or find a new home for them.
