Okay, thought I had 14 girls....they are 14 weeks as of this week....now not so sure.....this is one of my Red Sex Links.....any ideas? He or she is awfully reddening up, rofl!

Pullet... male red sex links would be white with just a little red through the shoulders

My red sex links are not very old, seven and a half weeks, but they have pretty big red combs already. I dont think the red males look anything like the females so doubt its a male. BUT I have less experience than you do. This was taken on the 20th of last month. You can see they are already pretty red and prominent.

My red has a comb that'll rival many a rooster! I wouldn't worry to much on sex links

Thanks everyone! These are my first ones....I have never been around many roos, so it's all new to me...that huge red comb got me to thinking!

I really worried about my pair, but both lay eggs for me now so yay! Lol

They mature so quickly and often lay at 16 weeks. She'll be one of the first. The red comb and wattles is signaling that.
