Definitely a rooster. And he isn’t ugly. He is very pretty.

Thanks he's definitely not my taste as far as rooster looks, so I didn't really think he was pretty and still don't but he turned out to be a Cujo rooster with other birds so he's no longer with us

See I think that one is pretty! The draw to rooster's for me are the striking colors, so a grey rooster was pretty blegh for me. He was super nice, but in the end i need a rooster that's nice to his flock as well as his people, so the Phoenix stayed and the EE went to a new home

Hah! Lol. I find the lanky, patchy color a bit unappealing.

But you have to agree. Some are so beautiful and vibrant you think they will go up in flames any minute.

I got lucky with this guy. He was supposed to be a she but turned out a boy.
He’s not half bad. He’s the alpha Roo (I have 6 total) of my 38 birds

Well, they aren’t mine, but yes, they are beautiful.
Sorry, I forgot to say they weren‘t mine.
I have two pullets, still very pretty birds. Lots said my Vanilla (I call her Bean) was a roo when her coloring came in.

My JB (June Bug) is a salmon color with strange fiery amber hackles.
