UK flocker

Collected six eggs from a local breeder put them in the 'bator waited 21 day and was very excited two small peeping fluff balls, the rest of the eggs didn't happen. Bought some eggs off a well known auction site, 12 quail and 12 chickens. Six quail hatched one was a bit disabled couldn't stand up and sort of peddled round in circles shaking so was dispatched, heart braking to dispatch something so cute 9 out of the 12 chickens hatched. I've stopped watching TV watching chicks fall over is much more entertaining. I've caught the bug after a good clean and disinfect I now have 36 Texan quail eggs in there. I'm in west Sussex UK if there is any other mad flockers in the area that can offer advice and support then get in touch. Scottie xx

A BIG thanks to all your welcome message, first two chicks now outside, five quail, ten chicks and 36 quail in the 'bator. This is getting addictive, i go down to the other girls to tell them a progress report as i collect the eggs, not sure if they understand but they are always happy to see me and never disagree unlike the rest of the family lol.
