I have never had any lice problems myself, but everyone I know who had lice problems cleaned their coops fromceiling to floor until it was spotless, put lice dust in with the new bedding, put lice dust in the dust pit their chickens had made, and kept them in the yard until the lice were all gone. Then, they would free-range them again, and if the lice came back, they would repeat everything and keep the hens shut up until they found and eradicated possible sources of the problem.
