Hi all,

I'm looking to see if anyone has heard of a Cotswold Blue, it's a hybrid to produce a blue egg but I can't find a picture of the full grown chicken.

The chicks we've got are hopefully pullets but the seller has had a few roos come through. She's happy to take them back if they are but we travelled pretty far to get them and with the cost of fuel I'd rather not have to go back!

They are 3 weeks at the moment.

Also is there anyone from Kent that can recommend and hatcheries or breeders especially of coloured egg layers....I'm looking for a green/olive egg layer.

Kent is lovely; I lived there some years ago.
What chickens have you got?

I'm sorry I didn't even realise I had posted here! We've got an assortment, Rhode Rock, Bason White, Barred Rock, ISA Brown, 2 x Pekin Bantams, 2 x Wynadotte Bantams, 2 x Cotswold Blue and a French Black Copper Maran (I wish I had two of these now..)..... Chicken Math is definitely a thing and hubby is now expanding the run.

We will free range when all the dogs learn they are not a snack. 1 good dog down....2 to go!

My husband is working in Tenterden today, I've asked him to keep an eye out. He found our missing chicken maybe he's a lucky charm
