Hey it's no trouble, that's what we are all here for.

Could be a virus or a respiratory infection. Do her eyes look clear?

For now I would seperate her off from the others with her own food and water. Something to tempt her to eat, scrambled egg, tuna or some soaked chicken feed into a mash. Do you have any poultry vitamins in stock? Some of those in the water should help her also.

I've separated her, it's nearly bedtime now, so she has a straw nest - she usually sleeps on the straw not roosts...

Her eyes are clear, she's not sneezing, but she's not moving and her tail is curved downwards. It looks like she's in pain to me. I've tried feeling around to check for any damage-but she doesn't flinch when I hold & move her legs, wings, etc.

I've not checked... I'll read that post and see how. I was just wading through the wheezing posts ! I'm sure they all layed today... so that wasn't something I'd considered.

Maybe not then if she laid today, just a thought on my part trying to cover all bases.

Certainly sounds respiratory. Clear eyes and no sneezing would make me think virus for now. Barring keeping her comfy, hydrated and trying to get her to eat is all you can do for now unless you are going to take her to the vet?

I don't know which is worse - something stuck in her throat, an injury or a virus.

Thank you for the diagnosis, I hope she makes it through the night.
