Hi, I'm mygirlsmum, from the UK. I have 3 hens, Warren, Twinkle and Daisy. I have kept hens for the last 3 years or so, these aren't the original girls though, unfortunately we had a nasty visit from the fox and I lost all. So, my two fab sons and my dad set about building a brick chicken house. Now they have a palace, big enough for some ducks too. So last year I hatched some duck eggs, all turned out to be boys though, so after a lot of fighting amongst them I have had to re-home 3, and buy some girls.
I am so sorry about the fox attack. Those predators can be horrible But it sounds like you bounced right back into the poultry world! Those baby ducks are just adorable!!
If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask. We do have a Predators and Pests Forums if you need any help with getting your coop and run secure...
