I can't even imagine the reason. The humans don't honestly sit at that table to eat, do ya think???

My daughter (who is 9) was just as icked out as I was, thinks that perhaps it is a special chicken only room and the table/chairs are their roost.

Why, oh why would you do this????

When I brooded my first batch of chicks, the kids made them little jungle gyms and ramps and such. They spent many an hour on newspaper on our kitchen floor...but they were tiny, fluffy babies! These are chickens!

Can you imagine the chicken dust and the smell? But I'm not that much better. My chicks will be in the house for two or three days or until I know they can handle being out in the brooder in a shed. Chicken dust is the worst.
