Umbilical cord?

I have a chick that hatched and the umbilical cord is stuck on the chick and to the egg shell still, Shoul di just leave it or cut it off? And will it be okay if it gets dragged a little like if the chick moves around?

Leave it. It will fall off or the chick will kick it off when it's time.

sometimes its just "stuck" I give it a very gentle tug. As long as there isnt any pink fleshy part sticking out of the abdomen, just the white stringy piece.

Ya its just the white stringy piece but its almost off so im just gonna let him kick it off himself....Ive already opened the bator too much for now.
