Umbilical or egg gunk

That's normal and will dry up and fall off. I'm sure by now it already did..Its the umbilical still connected to the yolk and goop...

Duck starter or chick starter? If chick starter you might want to see about getting some B complex because ducklings need more niacin than what in chick starter.

I have the duckling in a aquarium with a soft white bulb heating lamp. Should the bulb be red or will the soft white be ok the temps range between 85-95 degrees but it’s inside where it’s pretty warm as well.

Ducklings don't require as much heat as Chicks..An aquarium might get too warm. Warm Ducklings huddle and pant far from the heat..
