ummm I have a dumb duck question ....

I know chickens have a crop instead of a stomach - but what do ducks have ? do they have a stomach or a crop like chickens ?

Not a dumb question at all!

They have a long esphogus which is large and goes to the stomach. It acts like the crop does.

I dont know what made me think of that LOL but while I was feeding them and spending some time with them I noticed that the chickens have nice full crops and the ducks never seem to show and " bulge " on the chest like the chickens do when they have spent the day eating.
