ummm They're almost here!

Ok, so tonight the phone rings, it's a number I don't know, but I decide to answer anyway. It was the person who's in charge of livestock at Fort Steele, the place where I put in an order for chicks at the begining of April. I had been told I wouldn't get them till mid summer. Well I get to go pick them up on Sunday (a week from now)!!!!

I am getting 8 Chanteclers and 8 Barred Plymouth Rock!!!!

All that said, I wasn't expecting the chicks till July... My coop that I keep saying nxt weekend... still isn't built!

SO now it REALLY is nxt weekend!!!!

I know they will be in a brooder box for a while but a "while" isn't eternity!

I'm so excited!!!!!!!!

How exciting

I remember being a new Momma on the ride home from the PO with a chirping box on my lap. (Was that really only 7 weeks ago?) ENJOY THEM!!! They grow up so fast.
