Ummmm - Is SHE turning into a HE?????

Pullet. She's maturing earlier than the others, that's all. She'll probably be your first layer. You'd see definate sex characteristics at this age if it was a roo.

POL pullet. I would guess that the tetratints were bred for production and quite a few production breeds will start laying as soon as 4 months old. I don't see any pointy hackle or saddle feathers either. Oh, and spurs do not a rooster make.

Any chicken can develop spurs. I've had hens with wicked sharp 2 1/2 inch long spurs.

I have no idea, but I gotta say, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what the "white pullet" I have from TSC is, and now I know.

The other one (not the Suspect) looks a lot like my little Izzie. Not sure if it's a characteristic of the breed, but Izzie is so sweet. She runs up my leg and gets on my shoulder when I pet another chicken. She's a jealous girl, and definitely the head chicken. haha
