I just got the eggs two days ago. I let them sit for 24 hours. I checked when I first got them and couldn't locate an air cell. After 24 hours I checked again. I was able to locate some cells, not all. Of the ones I did locate 2 had completely detached air cells - I could make the bubble move to the other side of the egg. 1 had a wobbly cell. The others I can't find. This brings a few questions.

1) the fully detached cells. Any chance they may still hatch?

2) the cell that "wobbles". I can get it to kind of go to the upper left or upper right side of the egg, but it firmly stays on that side. Do normal cells do that, or have mine been damaged?

3) part of the reason I think I can't see the cell is due to the heavy speckling that shows up when you candle. What causes that? (Picture below)

(Also curious why the eggs would be darker in odd areas. It's the shell, not the lighting or embryo)

I should note that one egg arrived broken. The others are fine. They were in shipping less than two days.

The speckles are from porous shells. Not very good quality hatching eggs from what you are describing.

If they're not, that's okay. I'm pretty much a test case for the eggs. I've never had eggs I can't find an air cell in before.
