Unanswered posts=help

Just skimmed through the unanswered posts. Sure are a lot of them in the wrong category. Lots that should be in Buy Sell or Trade.

I didn't discover that link till March when I had been using this site for a year. Here's my thread on same:

Things are much more fast-paced now and threads are flying off the home page so if that's the page most people look at they are going to miss lots of great threads - not just the unanswered ones.

When I first joined, I used to go through each topic/forum, one at a time, to look for new posts since I had last visited. Now I too find myself looking mainly at the ones on the home page when I log in. I too must be missing a lot of great topics since the only ones on there are the ones posed in the last minute or two.

I think it is helping that we are working on separating the forums into further catagories.
I try to go through the unanswered posts, especially in Emergencies, but sometimes they go so fast.

Please know that no one ever deliberately ignores anyone.

I go through them alot. i try to help the ones if I can. I used to 'bump' ones that I couldn't answer, if they had been buried for several hours. then i discovered that I was guilty of spamming, so now if I can't help them, i just let them go...and i feel sad, b/c alot of good ?s need answers.

What else could I do to help answer these posters w/o spamming?

If it is really an emergency and something still needs help you could simply reply once to the thread asking "did you get this fixed / resolved? If not, please reply back with as much information and detail as possible so people can help you out." It is very possible the person already found an answer somewhere else.
