I'm interested in some Shetland eggs! What do you think of their temperments so far?
I love their temperaments. They have a similar look to the Cream Legbar with the top hat. Their size is slightly smaller also like the Cream Legbar hen but they are not flighty. My Shetlands are calm, quiet and friendly. Even the rooster is calm. I’ve not seen any of my girls go broody yet but it’s early. This is a landrace and I have seen a range of color, shape, and size of top hat. ECCB8A5B-AF6F-408E-95AA-446959BE091A.jpeg

They sound lovely! I'll message you. I've had chickens for ages but have never incubated. 🙈
I’ll support your hatch. You will love hatching :jumpy What incubator do you have or will have? Right now there is a two week waiting period for Shetland fertile eggs. Send me a message and I’ll add you to the list for October.

I have a hova bator 1602 with a fan but I've never even unpacked it haha. I would need to get an egg turner for it. I've been watching YouTube videos... I'm excited to try it but a little nervous. 😊
