Unbelievable....all PULLETS!! ***please read**

Here's some pictures.......on my way BACK out to see if I can get some better shots since most of these they were bending down eating bread. These are my fiances birds, so they aren't as socialable as mine are. It's kind of hard to get them to come close and stay still. But gonna try.

TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK: Could it be true.......are they all pullets?????

**thanks for all the interest...it's been very exciting for us too. I will have to try coloring the vent thing...OR my fiance will have to.....we each have our own chicken coops and kinda forbid the other from messing with each others chickens.......

It's hard to tell much from most of the pictures, but I'm pretty sure I see young roos in pictures #5, 6 & 8. I would guess that more start becoming evident in the younger chicks as time goes on.

I'm seeing about a third cockrells myself.

I agree with Katy though, give them a few more weeks and you can better tell.

No, I wouldn't say the vast majority are pullets......a good portion of them are too young to tell yet.

We were looking at the feathering more so than the waddle or combs. Be interesting to see..

I raise Buff Orps and you can't always tell by the feathering. I had a few hens that had a few curling feathers at the base of the tale but I know they are hens. They lay eggs. Even had one the had a couple long curly feathers in the tail, she layes eggs. They lost them in the first molt. Go figure. I also posted pics on this forum of my suspected roos and was told, nothing in the pics screamed roo but guess what.......

they were all ROOS
