Omg what a morning, I was awoke at 630am with a phone call to say my mum and bro was in a fire, they were trapped in the house and had to be rescued, they were taken to hospital and checked over and are both fine, the reason I have decided to share this is because of how the fire started, my mum's cat, yes seriously the cat, he was asleep on the halogen hob and knocked it on, then he obviously moved and knocked things over wich caught light and started the fire, unbelievable lol, the cat is fine by the way, he ran out the cat flap

Mum and brother are both fine, very lucky but there ok, the loss adjuster is out this morning so we will soon find out what the damage is, from what we have seen, the kitchen bore the brunt of the fire, so need a new kitchen, everything else is smoke damage

Well the insurance company are on it, 6 months before they can move back in, they are gutting the whole house and starting again, thank you for messages, and also cat has been checked out and is totally fine, he even made the front page of the local paper lol this is bubba

Well can not believe it, but my mum's story of the cat burning the house has gone global lol, it's made the papers in Germany, France, Japan, China, Australia and USA, it's just so mental lol

Just thought I would do an update, unfortunately a week after the fire bubba was put to sleep, he declined rapidly after the fire, the vet said the stress made him very ill and he had cancer, the stress made the cancer ravage his body within the space of a week, rip bubba you will always be missed, also the house is totally gutted they have taken plaster off walls and ceilings have come down, the house had been rewired and builders are now starting to get things moving, hopefully they will be home before xmas
