No. This guy is out of Owosso, MI. Sells Welsummers, Cuckoo Maren, and Penedesenca eggs. It looked like this was the first time he tried selling started pullets. Unfortunately for him - I work for local government. I feel like a snitch, but for crying out loud these are just helpless birds!

Well maybe if you nurse them back to health and don't want to add them in with your flock then you could sell them. OR you could just have 2 seperate flocks?? Good luck girl. I feel for you.

Does this guy have the initials DS? I've been emailing a guy in that area, with the thought of getting some dark egg layers next year.

I certainly will get the birds elsewhere if this is the same guy.

His initials are DS and he live in Owosso, MI. In my opinion it is the same person. If you do buy them I would inspect them very carefully and not be in a hurry like me.
They still are all huddled in the corner of the shed. They won't even go outside and it's sunny. I so depressed about this.........

that is just awful I would deffy report this person to the proper authorities. I hope they all get better and it may take awhile for them to come around after what you described and their fear well heck I cant blame them one bit no telling what they had to endure while with this and I use this term loosely "breeder". Things like this really rattle my cage I cannot understand how someone could be so heartless towards another living and breathing animal and then have the gall to sell them in this condition if you ask me he should of paid you to take these poor lil things not the other way around.
