Uncharted territory

Hi everyone,
I'm not yet lucky enough to own any chickens but I'm in the process of converting my children's disused Wendy house and fencing a small part of my garden under some trees. There must be lots of things I don't know about chickens and although everyone says they're very easy to look after I'm sure it'll be a fun and extreme learning curve. I'm looking forward to experiencing it and hoping that you guys can help me along the way

You should visit the learning center, there are so many articles there to help you get started with your upcoming flock.

Phase one of the chicken plan is complete. I've painted the Wendy house

it's looking much better and now I've just got to secure the door, puts locks on the shutters and block in the back. I have a perch ready to put in and nesting boxes. Fencing will be complete next weekend. I'm super excited, and so pleased that I've up cycled. Hope you all like x

Your house is so clever. Really cute. What a nice spot with the grass and shade trees. You'll have happy chickens for sure.
