See, these just sound extremely weird to me and I feel like it should be I guess that’s how much I’ve been conditioned to it hahah

Do you have a problem when it's just "me" in the sentence?
Or is it only when there is someone else in the sentence too?

“i” is a subject pronoun. it gets used when “i” is the person performing the action in the sentence.

“me” is an object pronoun. if the action is happening to you, you use me.

it’s confusing because you’re changing the word used to define yourself in the sentence.

if we replace you with “chicken” then there’s no change whether object or subject.

“the chicken ate all the food”

“she gave food to the chicken”

Nah only when there’s someone else in it. Like me played soccer makes no sense but if it’s like Jim and me played soccer shouldn’t it be Jim and I played? Or me and Jim?

If something can be counted with specific units, then you use fewer of them: Use fewer teaspoons of vanilla extract.
If something can be counted or is being counted using nonspecific units, or cannot be measured, then you use less of it: Use less vanilla extract.

I played soccer.
Jim and I played soccer.
Tom played soccer with me.
Tom played soccer with Jim and me.
