Understanding Hierarchy

So one of my girls has been inside quarantining while her bill heals up. It's like 99% there, so I've been letting her spend some supervised time outside in the afternoons. She *used* to be the top hen, chasing away my drake and even beating up on him a bit. Well, the past three days he's been running her off from the flock and even her hatch mates want nothing to do with her. Before coming inside all 3 of them moved around together, but now it's just the two constantly moving away from her.

Is there anything I can do for her? Or just let things work themselves out?

I would remove the drake from the flock and then reintroduce her. I would not add him back to the flock until the social order of the hens has been resolved.

Just to be 100% - keep him separated even when she’s not outside?
