I recently received some eggs from jenlynn4 and the packing was excellent.
Out of 8 eggs, I have 5 left.
I candled at day 4 and 1 had a blood ring, candled at day 8 and 2 more had blood rings. I opened the last 2 and they were developing so I don't know what happened.
Although I did have a humidity jump so maybe that affected the last two.
Anyway, I am disappointed about the 3 that didn't make it, and I'm not real sure about some of the others, but I purchased these eggs fully knowing the risk/gamble of getting shipped eggs.
I am very new to incubating/hatching my own, and I waited 2 days before setting them in the bator, so who knows, I could have done something wrong.
But, I don't blame the seller because the eggs were well packaged for protection and I received them all in one piece.
So, to all of you egg sellers out there, you'll always have the occasional complainer when things don't go well for them, but most people do understand the risks with shipped eggs
and blame no one
Keep up the good work -- if it weren't for you guys, some of us would be chickless in the winter when hatcheries aren't shipping.
