In the Brooder
I almost started with that dose but because the signs were so subtle, I went with a “moderate” dosing. Would it hurt to increase it now? Or should I wait and see how they do at this dose? Again, it was one chick having diarrhea, the others didn’t. And some ruffled feathers. It started after I started introducing outside soil to them. That’s why I assumed it was CoccidiosisWeigh the chick each morning to see if she is gaining weight.
If you are worried about coccidiosis I would follow these dosing amounts and treat with 1.5 teaspoon dose instead of 3/4 of a teaspoon.
