    Hi All

One of my chickens has produced the thing below!!! It's about an inch across, was very rubbery when I tried to break it in half and is full of white goo and whiter grainy stuff. Is this an undeveloped egg or something more serious? They are ex-batts and are about 2.5/3 years old now.

  2. that is a lash egg, which isn't an egg at all. it usually means there is an infection

You may want to research salpingitis in chickens. There are some good articles to read.
