Hi! I have 7 males and 4 female ducks. Once the males are old enough I’m going to separate some of them for the females. I’m leaving about 2 drakes in there. Probably 2 Pekins. Can I have a flock of 5 boys?

just keep all the boys together and all the girls together, much easier and no worry about the boys being aggressive or overmating the girls

my boys who are with just each other and no girls are ok

Ok sounds good. Thank you. I’ll keep the males in there own thing now and I’ll move the females.

I have a similar problem. My Khaki Campbells are just about 3 months old. I have 3 females and 5 males. My ratio is not good. Just curious, do you have lots of space? I live in the suburbs around Philadelphia. My yard is just about .25 acre. I like the idea of having a male and female separated but I don't know if my yard is big enough.
