Unexpected Blue chicks from a porcelain rooster

Here Is a better/more accurate color photo of one of the chicks. The head looks brown in the photo, but it is dark gray.

Here is the rooster
(Different rooster sired the chicks on the roost)
He is a hatchery rooster (Ideal poultry) & so are the hens

Adorable photo, especially with the chicks sitting there beside their mama. Nothing cuter than a hen with diddles (Western NC mountain term for baby chicks).

Thank you.
I love it! I have a rooster that I call diddle dude. Lol. I don't think he is impressed with my baby talk.

That isn't a color listed on ideal's website. Would that be similar to fawn silver duckwing?
Dun (or as they call it, fawn) works like blue. One copy is dun (fawn) and two copies is khaki. So naturally they would hatch out of the fawn silver duckwing pens.

So Fawn and dun are basically two names for the same gene? Like lavender and self blue?
