Hello. My grandmother passed away a few days ago, Christmas eve. We went through her home recently and we came across some incredible things. We got newspapers from big events throughout history and we also got my grandfather's purple heart from WWII. Actually we got two purple hearts from him. We also found a coin collection, hadn't been touched in 50 years. We did some appraisal and found it is worth between 8,000-13,000 bucks.. pretty surprising.

Well on Christmas day I found this book I had bought in 2004. I googled it out of curiosity, and discovered it was out of print shortly after I bought it. It's going rate is $200-$800. I paid $40 for it. I probably won't sell it, the book means a lot to me. It's just funny to know that it's some book I bought on a whim about a subject I liked... and now it's worth some money.

Awesome treasures!

I found an old horse book. It gave you general horse care etc. from the 70's. Although I don't know what it is worth, it's still cool to see how different the horse shows were back in the 70's.

When they peeled the wallpaper off of the walls in the dining room, the workers found a little ceramic shoe. It was papered over in the hutch - only 12 layers of wallpaper in that room...

I feel I've hit the jackpot if I find a quarter in there. Hubbo is just too cheap.
