I had a wesummer chick hatch really sticky. It took forever for him to dry but now that he has, the down is pasted to his body! He looks like a lil drowned chick next to his fluffy brothers and sisters. Anyway I can untack his fluff? He seems quite the novelty to the other chicks who are begging to pick at him---he gives it right back to them.

Just let him roll around in a blanket for a while and rub him a bit and he will fluff off. The chick goo is pretty crispy and will flake apart.
